Siberian Birds at Triveni Sangam


 Triveni Ghat is one such ghat where three rivers namely Hiran, Kapil and Saraswati meet with Arabian Sea. The point of confluence is considered to be holy and sacred for Hindu culture.


According to the Hindu mythology, Triveni Ghat is the place visited by Krishna after being hit by an error and is considered to be the cremation ground of Lord Krishna. It is believed that a bath in the holy river can wash off all the holy sins and the person can attain Moksha .


It is one of the favorite tourist spot and is located near Somnath Beach. Migratory birds hover over the city during the months of November and December and the tourist who come here for a boat ride usually feeds them. With arrival of winter , Siberian birds travel across several kilometers.

Siberian birds are one more reason why visitors are attracted to this place.
