Fish markets gets opened for people at a very early hour and so people flock in huge numbers to get them. The air in these markets smell of seafood with huge crowd and commotion of people. Fishes ranging from Hilsa, Salmon, Mourala, Bata , Puti, Papda all are available and sometimes even seafood species like catfish, prawns, crabs, lobster,carp.
